Mixed Strategy Game Theory

In my classes that include the topic of game theory, I usually only focus on pure strategy games - games in which one player always chooses a strategy given their opponents choice. I do this since it gives the general feel of what game theory can do, and usually the ideas that I want to convey can be done straightforward with pure strategies.

But sometimes mixed strategies are needed. So for those that are interested, here is an excellent piece on mixed strategy Nash equilibrium games using NFL run vs. pass offense and NFL run, pass or blitz offense.
