Beer & Product Differentiation

One of the keys to success in the brewing industry is the ability of brewers to successfully differentiate their products. Most brewers invest a great amount of money in order to come up with a successful new product, such as the recent push for lower calorie beers. Yet, some differences are found by accident, such as beer that is aged in oak barrels - mainly for the distilled spirits industry.
