Colony Collapse Disorder Solved?

Earlier, I noted that bees have been suffering from colony collapse disorder, which is where entire hives of bees do not return to the hive and the bee hive dies. The economic impact can be modeled using a production possibilities frontier - not only for honey but also for other types of agricultural products that bees pollinate, which I have the TA's discuss during their discussion section. Recently, the New York Times reports that scientist's have found the cause for colony collapse disorder and are working on a solution to this problem. I will talk about this using a production possibilities frontier in class, so here are the links in case you are interested in the details.
