EPA Cap & Trade

A classic economic example of a negative externality is pollution, and one of the best examples is air pollution - such as acid rain. Here are some links from the EPA's website on the sulfure dioxide (acid rain) program, the nitrogen oxide program and an overview of the market-based cap and trade program.
