The Superstar Effect on Income Inequality

The New York Times has a great article on the effect that top paid athletes have on the distribution of income of athletes in similar positions. The article refers to Rosen's paper on the "Superstar effect", which basically states that superstar workers are earning significantly more income now because technology is allowing these workers performance to reach greater audiences, and thus the value of their labor is higher.
