Google Entry into Navigation

Garmin and Tom-tom are facing strong competition from mobile phone device makers and operating systems in the market for mobile navigation.  Given the added competition from entry, market prices have dramatically decreased and now Google is offering mobile navigation for free on the Motorola Droid.
