US Places Tariffs on Chinese Solar Panels

The US has placed tariffs (tax on international trade) of Chinese solar panels.  As we see in Prin. of Micro, this will reduce overall economic well-being (welfare).  US solar panel producers will be better off, but consumers will be worse off, and overall economic well-being will decline.  Sigh.
