The Economics of Tea
Here is an excellent article on the importance of product differentiation in terms of making a business more profitable. Dimlah, a Sri Lankan tea grower has used branding and marketing of its tea to differentiate itself from its much larger competitors, and has been able to use the difference to charge higher prices and make a positive economic profit.
